Gustavo Navarro

Gustavo Navarro is an experienced engineering manager currently at Aavia since June 2024. Prior roles include various positions at Reach from November 2016 to June 2024, where Gustavo served as Software Researcher in the office of the CTO, Director of Software Engineering, and Founding Software Engineer. Prior to this, Gustavo was a post-doctoral scholar in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at UC Davis, conducting research on fast numerical algorithms for the FW-H equation. Gustavo's academic background includes significant teaching experience at UC Davis as both an Assistant Instructor and Teaching Assistant, alongside research in partial differential equations during a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the same institution. Additionally, Gustavo completed a research internship at the Center for Mathematical Modeling at Universidad de Chile and a data mining internship at Direkto S.A. Gustavo holds a Mathematical Civil Engineering degree and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Engineering, all from Universidad de Chile.
