Aftab Haider

Aftab Haider has an extensive work experience spanning over many years. Aftab started their career at HSBC in 2003, where they served as an Assistant Relationship Manager and later became a Relationship Manager in Institutional Banking. Aftab then joined Citi in 2008, holding roles such as Senior Relationship Manager and Head of Banks in the Financial Institutions Group. After that, Aftab worked at ANZ as an Officer in Trade and Supply Chain Operations. Aftab then moved to Glencore Agriculture as a Treasury and Accounts Receivable Officer and later joined Lempriere Wool Pty Ltd & Probe group as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Aftab also gained experience at National Australia Bank, where they worked as a Reconciliation Specialist and a Team Member in Accounts Payable. Aftab served as a Senior Vice President at The City Bank Ltd before transitioning to become the Country Manager for Bangladesh at CCRManager. Most recently, Aftab has been working at Riverstone Capital Limited as an Advisor. In 2022, they joined AB Bank Limited as the Senior Vice President in Financial Institutions & Treasury and is currently serving as the Head of Cash Management. Throughout their career, Aftab has acquired a diverse range of skills and experiences in various finance and banking roles.

Aftab Haider completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, from 1993 to 1997. Aftab also obtained a Higher Secondary certificate in Business/Commerce from Notre Dame College. Prior to that, they attended St. Joseph Higher Secondary School. Additionally, Aftab Haider has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including a Seminar on ECA Financing from Zürcher Kantonalbank in March 2018, a Capital & Credit Risk Distribution certification from ICC Academy in November 2017, a Microsoft Excel 2010 certification from Glencore Agriculture in September 2013, a Transition to Leadership certification from Citi in October 2009, a Credit Risk Analytics certification from Citi in February 2009, and an Accounting For Financial Institutions certification from HSBC in April 2005. Furthermore, they have an attachment experience with HSBC Singapore Risk Distribution Team.
