Akintunde Adeyemi has a diverse work experience in the fields of information security, cybersecurity, and sales. Akintunde is currently working as the Lead, Information Security and Assurance Officer at AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria Limited, where they conduct risk assessments, creates information security policies, and ensures security considerations in IT projects. Prior to this, they worked at Fidson Healthcare Plc as an Information Security Analyst, where they monitored networks for security issues, developed security awareness programs, and analyzed vulnerabilities in the infrastructure. Akintunde also served as a Network Security and Application Support Officer at Fidson Healthcare Plc, where they configured security tools and implemented network security policies. Before entering the field of information security, Akintunde worked as a Sales Executive at Nigerian Breweries Plc.
Akintunde Adeyemi completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Benin between 2007 and 2012. In addition, they obtained certifications including Lead Implementer in Information Security Management Systems based on ISO/IEC 27001:2022 from TÜV SÜD, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals from Microsoft, The Definitive GRC Analyst Master Class from Simply Cyber, EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) v10 from EC-Council in 2021, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in 2019.
