Peter Koot

Peter Koot has extensive work experience in the logistics and software solutions industry. Peter started their career as a Project Manager and Functional IT Team Lead at Vitesse, where they implemented and optimized the warehouse management system. Peter then worked as a Senior Application Manager Logistics at GEODIS, where they were responsible for managing logistics applications and cutting costs. At DHL, they served as an Interim IT Project Manager. Currently, Peter is working at Ab Ovo as a Chief Solution Officer and Senior Solution Architect, designing and implementing solutions for various industries such as freight forwarding, maritime, and public transport.

Peter Koot earned a Drs. degree in Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they studied from 1982 to 1987. Peter has also obtained additional certifications, including Green Software for Practitioners LFC131 from the Green Software Foundation in 2023, Quintiq level 4 Business Consultant from DELMIA Quintiq in 2016, and Prince2 Practitioner from APMG International in 2008.
