Loem Chanthy

Loem Chanthy has an extensive work experience in the field of IT and cybersecurity. Loem joined ABA Bank in 2018 and has held various roles within the organization. From January 2018 to April 2020, they served as an ICT Assurance and Compliance Officer. Following that, they were promoted to the role of Senior ICT Assurance and Compliance Officer, which they held until April 2021. From April 2021 to February 2022, Loem served as the Cyber Security Assurance Team Lead. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Cyber Security Assurance Unit, starting from February 2022.

Prior to joining ABA Bank, Loem worked at Passerelles numériques Cambodia as an IT Admin Coordinator from September 2015 to December 2017. Before that, they worked as a System Engineer at Digi (DTV STAR Co., Ltd) from May 2012 to August 2015.

Loem Chanthy completed an Associate's Degree in System and Network Administration from Passerelles numériques Cambodia from 2011 to 2013. Later, from 2014 to 2016, Loem Chanthy pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from the University of Puthisastra. In terms of certifications, Loem Chanthy obtained various certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in 2023, CPISI-Certified Payment Security Implementer from SISA in 2022, ICTTF-Certified Cyber Risk Specialist from the International Compliance Association in 2022, ISO/IEC 27001 INFORMATION SKILLFRONT SECURITY ASSOCIATE™ from SkillFront in 2021, COBIT 5 Foundation from PeopleCert in 2019, and Certified Network Defender (CND) from EC-Council in 2020.
