Alan Hislop

Alan Hislop has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Alan'smost recent position was Division Vice President of Business Development, Sales, and Marketing at Abaco Systems, where they started in September 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Director Global Account Manager at SCI Technology, Inc., starting in April 2020. Alan also worked at Ducommun Incorporated as a Strategic Customer Director in the Electronics Solutions Group from May 2019 to April 2020.

Alan worked at SCI Technology, Inc. before as well, starting in August 2012. During their time there, they held the role of Senior Director, Business Development, Defense, and Aerospace IMS. Alan'sresponsibilities included managing major accounts and directing integrated manufacturing services and engineering services business development activities. Alan was also responsible for developing and implementing budgets, bookings, and revenue goals.

Alan's work experience also includes serving as a Global Key Account Manager at STMicroelectronics from 1996 to 2006. In this role, they were responsible for global account activities and negotiating contracts with key customers.

Alan started their career in the US Army Reserves/Alabama Army National Guard, where they served as a Company Commander from March 1980 to April 1994.

Alan Hislop completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Psychology and Sociology at Clinton Community College from 1981 to 1983. Following this, in 1986, they attended the US Army Infantry Officer's Candidate School, where they obtained a Commission in the United States Army. In the same year, they also completed the Officer's Basic Course at the Ordance Missile & Munitions Maintenance Center Redstone Arsenal AL, specializing in 91D Ordance Missile and Munitions Management. Finally, Alan pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Optics at The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 1987 to 1992.
