Scott Fraser

Scott Fraser has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Scott currently works as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Abaco Systems, Inc., where they focus on data automation and improving self-service reporting using SAP, HANA, and MS PowerBI.

Before that, they worked at Carlsberg Group as a Business Intelligence Developer. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining and developing Access databases and Excel datasets for PowerBI Dashboards. Scott also developed reporting solutions, utilizing PowerBI, MS Access + SQL, and Excel + VBA.

Scott also served as a Senior Digital Analyst at MyLife Home Care, where they developed reporting and self-service dashboarding for various stakeholders, from the CEO to field staff. Scott overcame numerous challenges with data and user behavior to create a KPI report, providing a unified version of the truth.

Prior to that, Scott was employed as a Senior Report Development Analyst and Commercial Analyst at Howdens Joinery Co. In these roles, they were responsible for developing dashboards, self-service tools, and reports. Scott managed projects, maintained communication with departments such as IS, and provided analysis and support to various teams.

Scott began their career as a Trainee Financial Planner at Barfield Financial Advisors and also gained experience as a Bike Mechanic at Halfords, where they demonstrated exceptional product and system knowledge, trained staff, and achieved high performance rankings.

Scott Fraser attended Northampton School for Boys from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained their GCSE and A-level qualifications. Following this, they enrolled at Coventry University from 2007 to 2010 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. In December 2018, Scott obtained a certification in "SQL for Beginner Data analysis" from Udemy.
