George Diathesopoulos

George Diathesopoulos has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. George began their career as a Cyber Security Consultant at EY in August 2015 and was promoted to Senior Cyber Security Consultant in June 2017. George worked at EY until November 2017.

After leaving EY, George joined the Hellenic Navy as a Seaman from November 2017 to November 2018.

George then worked at INTRASOFT International as an Information Security Consultant from January 2019 to June 2021. George was promoted to Senior Information Security Consultant in July 2021 and held this position until November 2021.

In 2021, George joined Ocean Finance as a Cyber Security Engineer and worked there until May 2022.

Currently, George is employed at Abacum as a Security Operations Engineer, starting in October 2022.

George Diathesopoulos completed their education at the University of Piraeus. George obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Systems, which they pursued from 2008 to 2014. Following this, George pursued a Master's Degree in Security of Digital Systems from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the Web Application Penetration Tester eXtreme (eWAPTx) from eLearnSecurity in October 2021, the IBM QRadar SIEM Foundation from IBM in September 2021, the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) in January 2021, the CyberArk Certified Trustee in October 2019, the ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor from PECB in June 2021, the CyberArk Certified Pre-Sales Engineer (CPE) in October 2019, and the ISO 27001:2013 ISMS Auditor/Lead Auditor from the International Register of Certificated Auditors in October 2015.
