Andrés Herranz González

Andrés Herranz González is a Lead Data Scientist at Abacus.AI since 2022. Prior to this they were a Data Scientist Global Ambassador at hp from 2021. Before that they were a Senior Data Scientist at CoverWallet, an Aon company from 2021, where they were responsible for model development from inception to production, working with cloud providers and developing MLOps solutions with REST APIs, and advanced analytics with the business team to drive company decisions. Andrés was a Data Scientist at Orange from 2020, where they were responsible for predictive algorithm modeling in Python to increase the value of the company's portfolio. Andrés was a Data Science and Big Data Architect at INECO from 2019, where they were responsible for Big Data services development for data management (ETL) from Eurocontrol, and analysis with Python and Spark on cluster EMR (Hadoop). From 2018 to 2021, they were the CTO & Co-founder at WorkRiders, a technology company that provides AI-based solutions for companies with outsourcing and remote staffing needs. Andrés was also an AI Research Scientist at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2018, where they proposed and developed a methodology for profit optimization (RM) of a hotel. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Data Scientist at NTT DATA Europe & LATAM, where they were responsible for deploying a Big Data environment with Apache Ambari to manage data from various cloud modules, and for the computer vision module for the recognition of people and emotions, tracking system and monitoring of a person's data by means of intelligent wereables. Andrés was also an AI Research Scientist at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2017, where they collaborated in the SELFNET (H2020-ICT-2014-2/671672) project related to security in 5G technology.

Andrés Herranz González completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidad Complutense de Madrid between 2014 and 2018. Andrés then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 2018 and 2019.
