Myles Herrera-Pease

Myles Herrera-Pease has held various positions in the technology industry since 2017. In 2018, they began an internship as a Software Engineer at the NYU Future Reality Lab. In 2019, they took on the role of Lead Computer Science Instructor at Girls Who Code, where they instructed 20 high school girls over the 7 week Summer Immersion Program, lead group discussions on diversity, accessibility, and gender equality in the technology industry, and managed a teaching assistant. In 2020, they held two positions: Senior Sales Engineer at Darktrace and College Computer Science Tutor at Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy Company. Currently, they are a Sales Engineer/AI Technologist at Abacus.AI.

Myles Herrera-Pease attended Santa Cruz High School from 2011 to 2015, graduating with a High School Diploma. Myles then attended Santa Clara University from 2014 to 2015, before transferring to New York University in 2015. Myles completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Major, Mathematics Minor in 2019. During their time at NYU, they also attended NYU Shanghai in 2017 to study Mathematics and Computer Science. In January 2022, they obtained a Darktrace Cyber Engineer certification from Darktrace.
