Sam Lawson

Sam Lawson currently serves as Managing Partner at Abacus Capital, a venture secondaries investor, since January 2023. Previously, Lawson held the position of VP, Capital Markets at Crowdcube from May 2021 to December 2022, contributing to the leading investment platform in Europe. Lawson also volunteered at the United Nations in early 2021, providing technical input for a cryptocurrency project. Experience includes a role as Senior Associate at Circle, a global cryptocurrency firm, and similar positions at SeedInvest and AR Global Investments, where significant growth in assets under management was achieved. Lawson's career began at Microsoft as a Project Consultant in 2013. Education includes an MPhil in Business Management from the University of Cambridge and a BA in History from the University of York.
