Dani Theobald

Dani Theobald has a diverse work experience in the legal industry. Dani most recently worked as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Abacus Life since March 2018, where they conducted investigations, provided business and regulatory training, and oversaw the preparation and review of commercial contracts. Prior to this, Dani worked as a Senior Trial Attorney at Bell & Roper, PA from October 2012 to March 2018, where they specialized in general civil litigation, insurance defense, corporate, local government, employment, and construction law. Dani also served as a Senior Trial Attorney and Of Counsel at Shepard Smith and Cassady from June 1998 to October 2013, again specializing in civil litigation and providing contract drafting and analysis services. Dani has also worked in various roles as a Senior Trial Attorney at Vasquez and Tosko, Safeco Insurance, Allstate, and Conroy Simberg, where they gained experience in insurance defense practice and performed extensive legal research. Dani'swork experience spans over two decades and includes drafting pleadings, discovery, pre-trial motions, coverage opinions, and bad faith opinions.

Dani Theobald completed their Bachelor's degree in Advertising at the University of Florida from 1991 to 1995. Afterwards, they attended Florida State University from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree. Furthermore, Dani Theobald has received additional certification from The Florida Bar, although the specific time of obtaining this certification is unknown.
