Christian Nielsen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Christian began their career as a Risk Management Trainee at CACEIS Bank Deutschland, where they were responsible for daily credit monitoring and reporting. Christian then worked as a Junior Analyst at Translution Capital A/S before joining Heidrick & Struggles as an Executive Assistant.
Nielsen later transitioned into the role of Barista at Kalles Kaffe and then worked as a Business Development Intern at Right to Dream. Christian also gained experience as a Master Thesis Student at Aarstiderne A/S.
In 2017, Nielsen joined PA Consulting as a Management Consultant, where they honed their consulting skills. Christian served as an Elite Handball Referee for DHF - Dansk Håndbold Forbund from 2007 to 2019.
Since 2019, Nielsen has been working at Warner Bros. Discovery. Christian began as a Strategic Executive Assistant to the CEO, where they played a key role in developing and executing the company's strategy initiatives. Christian then moved on to become a Nordic Strategy Project Manager, leading the execution of the OL Tokyo 2020 project and optimizing cross-functional processes. Currently, Nielsen holds the position of Manager, Nordic Operations & Strategy, where they lead high-level cross-functional projects and has contributed to the development of the Nordic content strategy for the streaming service.
In 2023, Nielsen will join Abacus Medicine as a Strategy Lead.
Christian Nielsen completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in International Marketing and Management from Copenhagen Business School, which they pursued from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in International Business from the same institution between 2013 and 2016. In addition, Christian also studied at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General starting in 2015. Christian also attended the Summer School program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2014, although the specific field of study during that program is not provided.
