Patrick MacHemba

Patrick Machemba is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry with a current role as Country Head for Tanzania at Abacus Pharma (A) Limited since September 2021, overseeing the execution of business strategy. Prior to this, Patrick held significant positions at Abbott as Regional Sales Manager, focusing on driving sales and territory management from January 2019 to September 2021. Patrick's career also includes a tenure at GSK, starting as First Line Sales Manager and progressing to Regional Manager between August 2011 and January 2019, where responsibilities included sales team development and operational performance management. Additionally, Patrick began the career as a pharmaceutical technician at Hindu Union Hospital Mwanza from September 2009 to February 2011.
