Skylar P.

Skylar P. is currently serving as a Medical Related Projects in Environmental Health Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) since December 2023, focusing on environmental health within the National Center for Environmental Health. Additionally, Skylar has been an Administrative Assistant at Abacus Solutions Group since April 2020. Previous experience includes a Global Health Field-based Internship with Child Family Health International in 2022, where approximately 100 hours of observerships were completed, along with weekly reports on social determinants of health and health disparities. Skylar also interned with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as a VSFS InnovationX Intern between September 2021 and May 2022, researching maternal health issues. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Penn State College of Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University.
