Melissa Keenan, SHRM-SCP, has a strong background in HRIS analysis and project management. Melissa started their career at BNY Mellon in 2006, where they worked as a Business Analyst and supported core HR PeopleSoft functionality, with a focus on Compensation. Melissa was involved in various implementations and upgrades, including the merger of BNY legacy HCM to Mellon HCM and the design and testing of the global compensation planning tool, WorkScape.
In 2011, Melissa joined Carnegie Mellon University as the Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management Lead. Melissa held this position until 2015, overseeing the implementation and management of Workday's time tracking and absence management functionality.
From 2015 to 2017, Melissa worked as an HRIS Analyst at ABARTA, Inc. During this time, they gained experience in HRIS analysis and provided support for the company's HR systems.
In 2017, Melissa joined ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages, LLC as a Senior HRIS Analyst. In this role, they took on the project lead for a multi-tenant implementation of various HR modules in SAP SuccessFactors and Workforce Software. Melissa led a cross-functional team and managed different phases of the project, including scope definition, requirement gathering, user acceptance training, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization. Additionally, Melissa served as a liaison for the HR Client Service Center, collaborating with the center on service level agreements and resolving day-to-day issues across multiple centers of excellence.
Melissa Keenan, SHRM-SCP, obtained their bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. Additionally, they have obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification twice in February 2019 from the institution SHRM.
