Juliana Barrios

Juliana Barrios has diverse experience in the field of respiratory biology and molecular medicine. Juliana has held various roles including Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, Scientist II, and Research Fellow. With a background in biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Molecular and Translational Medicine, Juliana has contributed to studies on neutrophil trafficking in lung diseases, pulmonary neuroendocrine system functions in asthma, and the role of E-cadherin in lung tumor development. Their expertise includes in vivo and molecular biology skills, as well as utilizing human and mouse models for studying disease pathways.
