Alireza Mehrtash

Alireza Mehrtash is a seasoned executive in the electrification and renewable energy sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President for APAC at ABB, overseeing Smart Power and Smart Building divisions. With extensive experience in full P&L responsibilities, Alireza has managed several divisions across Indonesia and Malaysia, focusing on low voltage components, building automation, and e-mobility solutions, among others. Prior roles include General Manager for ABB's Electrification Business Area in Malaysia, Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing for Solar, and leadership positions at SMA Solar Technology AG, where responsibilities spanned channel sales, project sales, and strategic product management. Alireza holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kassel and an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
