Shakir Wilson

Shakir Wilson is an accomplished professional in the field of electrical engineering, currently serving as the Head of Data Center Automation North America at ABB since May 2017. With a strong background in business development, risk management, and client support, Shakir has held various significant positions, including Director of Operations at Applied High Voltage, LLC, and Application Engineer at GE Energy Storage. Shakir's early career includes roles at CG Power Solutions, Inc., where responsibilities ranged from leading commercial operations to managing procurement and proposal engineering, as well as positions at MSE Power Systems focused on high and medium voltage power system design. Shakir holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned from 1999 to 2003.
