Sumira Kuvar

Sumira Kuvar is an experienced medical sales professional currently serving as an Executive Medical Sales Representative at Abbott since March 2022. Prior to this role, Sumira worked as a Medical Sales Representative at Adcock Ingram from April 2017 to February 2022 and held a part-time position as a Research Fellow at CAPRISA, where MIC determination of Izoniazid was performed against clinical M. tuberculosis isolates. Sumira's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Medical Microbiology from the Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine, a Bachelor’s Degree in Honours in Medical Microbiology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and a Bachelor’s Degree in the Life Sciences stream with a major in Microbiology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg.
