Richard Rutherford

Richard Rutherford is an experienced professional in plant operations and management with a strong background in the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as Plant Operations Manager and Senior Front Line Lead at Abbott Nutrition NL since April 2022, Richard oversees daily operations at the Columbus Plant, ensuring production schedules are met through effective collaboration. Previously, Richard held various leadership roles at Abbott, including Front Line Leader II, where responsibilities encompassed managing day-to-day operations, training new operators, and overseeing production efficiency. Earlier experience includes operations management at Kroger Columbus Bakery and Coca-Cola North America, where Richard implemented quality control and cost-saving initiatives. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Anthem University, earned between 2012 and 2016.
