Affan Bhutta

Affan Bhutta is an experienced packaging engineer currently employed at Abbott since June 2021. Prior to this role, Affan worked as a Mechanical Engineer II at BD from July 2020 to May 2021, focusing on the design and testing of prototypes for closed-system drug transfer devices. Affan's earlier experience includes a position as a System Specialist at The Ohio State University from 2015 to 2019, where responsibilities included supporting a range of IT services and documentation processes. Additionally, Affan served as a Student Helpdesk Associate and Team Lead, managing computer configurations and support for the Department of Athletics. Academically, Affan holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
