Arti Shadid

Arti Shadid, MS, MBA, is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in global sourcing and supply chain management, currently serving as Head of Global Sourcing for Abbott Rapid Diagnostics. Shadid oversees a team of 38 to manage an extensive supplier network with a $4B budget and has successfully launched significant Covid-19 tests, generating $10B in revenue. Previously, Shadid held roles such as America's Regional Sourcing Director, where strategic sourcing operations for Abbott's Americas were developed and optimized. With a strong background in energy and operations, Shadid has contributed to major mergers and acquisitions and has held various engineering and strategic roles in the energy sector. Educational qualifications include dual master's degrees in Business Administration and Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, along with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Delhi University.
