Chris Tse

Chris Tse is an accomplished research leader with extensive experience in drug discovery and development. Current roles include Vice President of Discovery Research & Early Development at AbbVie, where Chris leads teams focused on creating treatments for Cystic Fibrosis and cancer through innovative approaches targeting epigenetic and metabolic regulators. Prior to AbbVie, Chris held several positions at Abbott, including Associate Director and Group Leader, contributing to the development of small molecule inhibitors for cancer. Experience also includes a tenure at Sagres Discovery as Associate Director, overseeing gene discovery and target validation efforts, and as a Senior Scientist at Sangamo BioSciences, working on engineered transcription factors. Chris holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from UT Health San Antonio and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Florida.
