Javier Sanchez Alvarez

Javier Sanchez Alvarez, Ph.D., is an experienced professional in health economics and access analytics, currently serving as Associate Director of Value Analytics at AbbVie, where responsibilities include the development of global health technology assessments and support for related publications. Previously, Javier held roles at Evidera as a Research Scientist focusing on modeling and simulation, and at Roche as Global Access Evidence Lead, contributing to HEOR across various disease areas and managing interactions with global stakeholders. Academically, Javier obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata," served as a teaching assistant in econometrics, and authored the book "El papel de las ciudades en el desarrollo económico." Additional experience includes work at the FAO on agricultural market projections and database analysis, and extensive training in statistical and economic methods.
