Junwei Huang

Junwei Huang is a Senior Scientist at AbbVie, where they focus on advancing therapeutic strategies in neurodegenerative diseases. Previously, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both Harvard Medical School/Boston Children's Hospital and Pfizer, conducting research on neurodevelopmental disorders and identifying therapeutic targets for neurological diseases. Junwei earned a Ph.D. in Physiology from McGill University, where they designed assays to investigate ion transport mechanisms related to respiratory diseases. They also hold a bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
