Justin Dietrich

Justin Dietrich has extensive experience in medicinal chemistry, currently serving as a Principal Research Scientist II at AbbVie since January 2013. Prior roles at AbbVie include Principal Research Scientist, Senior Scientist III, and Sr. Scientist. Before joining AbbVie, Justin held the position of Sr. Scientist at Abbott Laboratories from November 2011 to January 2013 and worked as an Assistant Research Scientist at The University of Arizona in early 2011. Justin's research focuses on developing new chemistries through multi-component reactions, facilitating efficient drug-like scaffold formation and advancing drug discovery processes. Justin holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science-Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Arizona, along with a post-doctoral degree in Medicinal Chemistry/Organic Chemistry. Lawrence Technological University served as the educational foundation, where initial studies were undertaken.
