Karen Brami-Cherrier

Karen Brami-Cherrier, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at AbbVie since January 2020. Prior to this role, Karen served as a Research and Development Scientist at Allergan and as a Postdoctoral Scientist at UC Irvine from 2012 to 2017, where key contributions included leading three projects that resulted in significant publications. Karen's research spans schizophrenia and drugs of abuse, with successful NIH grant proposals based on findings. Earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at Inserm U839, focusing on innovative research and biochemical analysis, and a PhD in Neuroscience from Pierre and Marie Curie University, where Karen developed expertise in neuro-epigenetics, resulting in numerous first-authored and co-authored publications.
