Rifad Mustafa

Rifad Mustafa is a seasoned Software QA Manager with a robust background in quality assurance and test automation. Currently employed at AbbVie since August 2024, Rifad has established QA functions from the ground up for various projects, focusing on processes, tools, and best practices, while building and managing high-performing QA teams. Prior experience at Sysco from June 2015 to June 2024 included roles as a QA Architect and Automation Test Lead, where Rifad developed and oversaw test strategies and automation practices. Rifad’s career also encompasses positions as a Lead Software Test Engineer at eBuilder, Software Test Engineer at Nindev, and Associate Software Engineer at HP, showcasing a consistent track record of enhancing test automation and ensuring software quality across diverse applications. Rifad holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology.
