Sanjeev Majoo

Sanjeev Majoo currently serves as the Chief Procurement Officer at AbbVie, overseeing an addressable spend of approximately $14 billion globally and leading a team of over 500 procurement professionals since January 2023. Prior to AbbVie, Sanjeev held various executive roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb from August 2012 to January 2023, including Vice President of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement for Commercialization and other positions focused on global procurement across multiple sectors. Sanjeev also spent six years at Amgen in leadership roles within global strategic sourcing, and nearly a decade at Merck where roles included Associate Director of Global Procurement. Sanjeev began a career in academia as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan before attaining a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in Finance and Global Business from NYU Stern School of Business, following a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University).
