Xian Chen

Xian Chen is a Senior Principal Scientist at AbbVie since August 2024, having previously held the same title in Analytical Development at Cerevel Therapeutics from June 2021 until its acquisition by AbbVie. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Scientist at Frequency Therapeutics and as Senior Scientist and Separations Manager at Solvay. Xian also served as a Research Scientist at Tate & Lyle, an Analytical Chemist at Metaugus NPRI, and a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Xian Chen holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Florida and a B.E. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, with expertise in analytical testing, method development, and regulatory compliance.
