Sugandhi Matta

Sugandhi Matta is a Managing Director at ABC World Asia and has 14 years of investing experience in South and Southeast Asia.

Sugandhi joined ABC World Asia from LeapFrog Investments, a US$1bn financial inclusion focused impact fund, where she was a Director of Investment. In her role, she led and oversaw LeapFrog’s investments in Reliance Indonesia and Fincare (India). Prior to that, she was with Actis, where she focused on mid-market private equity in Southeast Asia. She started her investing career at Temasek Holdings, as a member of the Financial Services team.

Sugandhi is an experienced board member, having held board positions in companies located across different countries, such as India, Thailand and Indonesia.

Sugandhi has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (India) and a Bachelor of Engineering from Maharaja Sayaji Rao University, Baroda (India).
