Kate Caldwell is a skilled research scientist with extensive experience in biotherapeutics and antibody development. Currently employed at AbCellera since January 2020, Kate has progressed through roles from Research Technician to Research Scientist. Previous experience includes working as a Technician in Production at New Beta Innovation Canada Limited and a Scientific Researcher at UCD Conway Institute of Biomolecular & Biomedical Research, where a Master's project focused on developing Estrogen Receptor Alpha targeting antibodies for breast cancer treatment. Kate has also undergone training in commercial biopharmaceutical production at the NIBRT National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training.
