Rashid Maki

Rashid Maki currently serves as the Manager of Governance and Board Affairs at Abdullah Al Othaim Investment Co., overseeing the Secretary roles for the Board of Directors EXCOMM, NRC, and Investment committees since January 2021. Previously, Rashid held the position of Finance Manager and was a member of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee at the British Council from January 2019 to January 2021, where responsibilities included enhancing stakeholder experiences. Prior experience also includes roles as a Compliance & AML Officer at the National Bank of Egypt Khartoum, contributing to the establishment of departmental policies and internal control strategies from October 2015 to December 2018, and event organization for TED Conferences in early 2016. Rashid holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Financial Management from Sudan University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Juba.
