Maksim Sinyuk's work experience begins in 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute, where they held various roles. Starting as a Research Technician, they oversaw mouse colonies, managed lab functions, and provided support for grant editing and manuscript preparation. Maksim then became a Graduate Student, focusing on writing and editing protocols for the humane treatment of animals, participating in seminars, and presenting at conferences. Finally, they served as a Research Fellow, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, publishing manuscripts, and contributing to scientific research. In 2021, Maksim joined Abeona Therapeutics as an Associate Scientist, followed by a promotion to Scientist in 2022.

Maksim Sinyuk pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Cleveland State University, which they successfully completed between 2007 and 2010. Afterwards, they furthered their education at the same university and attained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Regulatory Biology from 2013 to 2018.
