Monica Worrell

Monica Worrell has a diverse work experience history. Monica started their career at Hess Hotels Group in 1991, where they held the positions of Vice President of Information Technology and Director of Sales and Marketing until 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they served as the Public Information Officer & Chief Spokesperson at the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Monica then joined Advanced Eye Care in 2012 and worked as the Marketing/Operations Director and Patient Relations Manager until 2018. In 2015, they were elected as a Council Member for the City of Havre de Grace and served until 2018. Currently, they are the Business Development Director at APG Federal Credit Union. Monica Worrell has consistently demonstrated their commitment to serving the citizens and utilizing their marketing and leadership skills throughout their extensive career.

Monica Worrell began their education in 1980 at Parkville Senior High School, where they completed the College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. After graduating from high school in 1982, Monica pursued higher education at Strayer University from 2006 to 2010. During their time at Strayer University, Monica earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a focus in Business Administration and Management, General. More recently, Monica enrolled at the Jack Welch Management Institute in 2021, where they are expected to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2025.
