Johnny Da Silva has been working in the construction industry since 2004. Johnny began their career as a Field Carpenter Supervisor for Avilas's Pro Construction, where they were responsible for overseeing and leading a crew of 15 employees and constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood using hand tools and power tools. In 2008, they became a Telecommunications Technician for Actavo. In 2018, they worked as a Site Civil Engineer for Walls Construction Limited, where they were responsible for liaising with client representatives and the design team. In 2019, they became a Civil Project Engineer for JJ Rhatigan & Company, working on a $40 million USD University Project in Maynooth, Ireland. Currently, they are an Assistant Project Manager at Aberthaw Construction Company, Inc, working on an 8-story historical commercial/residential project in Brockton MA.
Johnny Da Silva has a varied educational background. From 2014 to 2016, they attended the Technological University of the Shannon, where they obtained a Higher Certification in Civil Engineering. Johnny then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at the same university, graduating in 2017. Johnny continued their education at the University of Limerick, graduating with an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering in 2019. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as an Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2022, Engineers Ireland Member BE MIEI from Engineers Ireland in 2018, and CPR/AED/First Aid from Kearney Training & Consultancy (KTC Safety) Ltd in 2020.
