Ujjawal Singh

Ujjawal Singh is a research associate specializing in environmental studies at Abhitech, working on climate change projects in collaboration with the Flemish research institution VITO. Prior experience includes serving as an urban planner for the Nirmal Agra Project, focusing on plastic waste management in the Yamuna River, and as a project associate at the All India Institute of Local Self-Government, evaluating consultancy project proposals. Notably, Ujjawal was a sponsored thesis scholar at the National Institute of Urban Affairs, where the thesis on citizen engagement in river management earned recognition as a finalist in a national competition. Additionally, Ujjawal completed an internship at the Design Innovation Center of the School of Planning and Architecture, focusing on inclusive religious tourism. Ujjawal holds a Bachelor of Planning degree from the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal.
