Johan Nygård

Johan Nygård has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Johan is currently working as a Project Manager at Abilita Oy Ab since April 2022. Prior to this, Johan served as a Rektor at Staden Jakobstad - Pietarsaaren kaupunki from August 2014 to April 2022. During their tenure, they also took on the additional role of a systemadministrator from January 2019 to July 2020.

Before joining Staden Jakobstad, Johan worked as an Utvecklingskoordinator at Svenskspråkiga skolväsendet i staden Jakobstad from April 2015 to July 2017. In this role, they led development work within the Swedish school system in Jakobstad, including the development of study administrative tools, staff training, curriculum work, ICT strategy, and project activities.

Prior to that, Johan worked as an IKT-pedagog at Optima Samkommun from March 2012 to July 2014. Johan also served as a Rektor at Larsmo kommun, Holm skola from August 1999 to March 2012. Johan started their career as a Klasslärare at Larsmo kommun, Bosund skola from August 1995 to July 1999. Johan also briefly served as an acting Skoldirektör at Larsmo kommun from August 1997 to December 1997. Furthermore, they worked as a vik. Klasslärare at Kronoby kommun from August 1994 to July 1995.

Johan Nygård completed their education from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued a Master's degree in Pedagogy at Åbo Akademi.
