Joseph Jefferson, MPH has a diverse and extensive work experience. Joseph is currently working as the Program Director of Business Operations at Ability KC since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Foundation, Government, & Corporate Relations at Avila University from 2019 to 2022. Joseph also worked as a Resource Development Consultant/Owner for Impact Now Strategies, LLC from 2016 to 2022, where they generated significant funding for various healthcare programs and authored the Urban Health Agenda. In 2014, they worked as a Contractor in External Affairs & U.S. Health Outcomes Research at ViiV Healthcare, managing a national initiative and establishing partnerships. Joseph Jefferson's work also includes being the Director of Advocacy and Alliance Development for HealthHIV/National Coalition for LGBT Health from 2011 to 2014, advancing LGBT and HIV health policy and creating strategic partnerships. Joseph started their career as a Development Professional in various Health and Human Services Agencies from 1998 to 2009. Joseph has relevant education as a Graduate Student at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health from 2009 to 2011.
