Emily Janvey

Emily Janvey joined Abingworth in April 2023 as a Managing Director based in their Boston office. Emily focusses on Abingworth’s Clinical Co-Development practice where she is responsible for sourcing and the execution of deals.

Previously, Emily was Health Care Sector Head within the Investment Strategy Group at ICONIQ and prior to joining ICONIQ, was a Director on KKR’s America’s Health Care Private Equity team investing across the health care landscape and with a focus on large cap private equity, growth equity and non-dilutive financings. Emily was previously a VP at Sixth Street Partners where she provided alternative financing to pharma and biotech. Emily started her career as a consultant in the health care practice at McKinsey and Company.

Emily has served on the boards of companies across healthcare sectors and stages. Emily earned her MD and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania and her BA in neuroscience from Hamilton College.
