Traci M. Ostertag

Traci M. Ostertag has over 17 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. Traci M. began their career in 2003 as a Scientist (contractor) at Isis Pharmaceuticals. Traci M. then moved to Medlyte Inc. (currently Lpath Therapeutics) as a Research Associate II. In 2004, they joined Ligand Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Scientist and then as an Assistant Scientist. In 2007, they became a Research Associate II at Novocell, Inc. (currently ViaCyte, Inc.). In 2008, they returned to Ardea Biosciences as a Senior Scientist I and then as a Scientist II. In 2010, they were a Senior Research Specialist at Cibus LLC and a Senior Research Associate II (contractor) at Takeda. From 2015 to 2017, they were an Associate Director, Biology at Viscient Biosciences and then a Principal Scientist. In 2020, they joined Abintus Bio, Inc. as Vice President, Discovery Biology and Operations and then as Senior Director, Discovery Biology and Operations.

Traci M. Ostertag has a Master of Science in Molecular Biology - Virology from San Diego State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology from University of California, Santa Cruz, and has completed an Extension Program at UC San Diego. Traci M. has also completed a course at The Center for Professional Innovation and Education (CfPIE).
