Andrea Merin

Andrea Merin currently serves as Senior Patent Counsel at Abiomed, beginning in August 2021. In addition, Andrea holds the position of Adjunct Professor at New England Law | Boston, where responsibilities include lecturing on Patent Law since December 2023. Previously, Andrea worked as an Associate at Wolf Greenfield for nearly nine years, assisting clients with diverse intellectual property matters. Experience also includes a Law Fellow role at the Massachusetts Superior Court, a Law Clerk position at Bay State IP, LLC, and a similar role at Lambert & Associates, focusing on patent prosecution. Early career roles included research assistant positions and paralegal work, culminating in a foundational education with a J.D. from New England Law | Boston and advanced degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering from Tufts University.
