Alexander Fry

Alexander Fry has extensive work experience in the field of security, with roles ranging from ethical hacker to Vice President of Software Security Assurance. Alexander has worked with various organizations including Strong Crypto Innovations, Abira Security, Security Current, Open Web Application Security Project, Elsevier, NASA, US Navy Reserve, Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, Systems Management Enterprises, Inc., and Microstate. Alexander'sresponsibilities have included technical lead and information systems security officer roles for high-profile contracts with the US Federal government, and they have contributed to building application security centers of excellence in various organizations. Alexander has also worked on web application development projects for clients in different verticals, and has experience in engineering network and security appliances.

Alexander Fry obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 1993. In 2014, they earned a Master of Science in Information Security Engineering, with a focus on Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance, from SANS Technology Institute. Alexander has also obtained numerous certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect - Associate, CISSP, GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst, and various others related to network security, cloud computing, and privacy.
