Phuong Tran

Phuong Tran has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in various roles related to medical affairs and information. They are currently the Director of Medical Affairs at Abivax, a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to that, Phuong worked at Albireo Pharma, Inc. as an Associate Director and Senior Manager of Medical Information & Operations from April 2021 to July 2023. They also held positions at Agios Pharmaceuticals as a Manager and Associate Manager of Medical Information, as well as a Medical Information Intern/Contractor from May 2019 to April 2021. Phuong's early career included a research fellowship in pharmacotherapeutics at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences from March 2017 to September 2017.

Phuong Tran holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. In addition, Phuong has obtained several certifications, including Unconscious Bias, Effective Listening, GDPR Compliance: Essential Training, The Data Science of Healthcare, Medicine, and Public Health, Developing Your Emotional Intelligence, and Time Management: Working from Home from LinkedIn. Phuong is also a licensed pharmacist certified by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy. Furthermore, Phuong has completed training in Opioid Overdose and Narcan, Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery, and Basic Life Support.
