Thierry Van Nieuwenhove

Thierry Van Nieuwenhove is the current CEO at ABL Inc. Prior to this, they served as the President of the End Market Division at MINAFIN GROUP from February 2017 to October 2021. Before that, they were the President of Synthesis BU at Novasep from December 2013 to January 2017.

Lonza from December 2008 to January 2010 where they were Global Head Business Development for Small Molecules. In this role, they were responsible for interface between the Small Molecule Business Unit and Sales organization as well as the commercial strategy for the Business Unit. Thierry also followed the portfolio of existing businesses and led the process for acquisition of new businesses.

From June 2013 to December 2013, they were Director and General Manager at Ajinomoto OmniChem. Thierry then became Business Unit Director Pharma Fine Chemicals & Board Member of Granules-OmniChem India from March 2011 to May 2013. In January 2010, they became Supply Chain Manager & Strategic Projects and in January 2004, they became Business Unit Manager for Fine Chemicals, both at Ajinomoto OmniChem.

Thierry Van Nieuwenhove attended Université catholique de Louvain, where they studied bio-engineering with a focus in chemistry and biochemistry. Thierry then went on to earn a finance degree from Solvay Business School before completing a business marketing program at IMD Business School. Finally, they completed a business management program at Ichec Brussels Management School.
