Taishi Kato

Taishi Kato has a strong background in avionics and embedded systems. Taishi is currently the Director of Avionics Software at ABL Space Systems, where they previously held roles as Director of Avionics and Head of Avionics. Prior to their time at ABL Space Systems, Taishi worked at Physical Optics Corporation as a Group Lead and Team Lead in Embedded Systems. Taishi was also an Embedded Systems Engineer at HP and an Electrical Engineer at Northrop Grumman. Taishi began their career as an R&D Intern at Soraa and later worked as a Modeling & Design Research Intern at Tyndall National Institute.

Taishi Kato has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA.
