Lewis Martin

Lewis Martin has a diverse work experience in the transportation engineering field. Lewis was a Principal Engineer at Abley from March 2023, specializing in developing problem-driven solutions to create a safe transportation system and minimizing road trauma for international organizations. Lewis integrated research-proven results, geospatial analyses, and economical evaluation in their work. Previously, Lewis was a Senior Transportation Engineer at Abley from October 2020 to April 2023, where they also focused on problem-solving for road safety and minimizing road trauma.

Before their time at Abley, Lewis worked at Auckland Transport. Lewis was a Transportation Engineer from November 2018 to October 2020, and prior to that, they served as a Graduate Road Safety Engineer from December 2017 to November 2018. In these roles, Lewis worked on optimizing, prioritizing, designing, and managing projects to reduce the potential for fatal and serious injury collisions on the Auckland Network. Lewis also collaborated with the Investigation and Design team on major public transportation projects. Lewis received a full-time engineering job offer before completing their graduate contract.

Lewis Martin attended The University of Auckland from 2014 to 2017, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
