Outi Vuorio

Outi Vuorio has a diverse range of work experience. Outi is currently the Head of Business Development for Digital Access Solutions at ABLOY. Previously, they worked at Accountor Group as the Head of Business Development, where they were responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. Outi also held the position of Business Director in Scandinavia and interim HR Business Head for Sweden at Accountor Group. Prior to that, they were the Marketing Director at xEdu and held various roles at Microsoft, including Director of Business Management APAC and Director of Business and Portfolio Management APAC. Outi also worked at Nokia in roles such as Director of Portfolio Management, Manager of Near Field Communication (NFC), and Manager of Solutions Marketing. Outi has a background in HR and IT, with experience in mobility research projects, internal mobility lab activities, and mobile workplace solutions development. Overall, Outi has extensive experience in business development, strategy, and management.

Outi Vuorio completed their high school education at Uusikaupunki High School (Uudenkaupungin lukio) from 1991 to 1995. During the 1992-1993 school year, they participated in an exchange student program at Lincoln Way High School. In 1995-1996, Outi pursued business studies at Stockholm University, focusing on economics and marketing. Outi then attended the Turku School of Economics from 1996 to 2000, earning a Master of Economic Sciences (M.Sc.) degree with a major in International Business and minors in Accounting and Economics. As part of their academic journey, Outi also took part in an international marketing exchange program at the University of Northern Iowa in 1998.
