Gary Layton

Gary Layton, MSPM, currently serves as the Director of Global Engineering and Maintenance at Viskase Companies, Inc., a position held since March 2023. Prior roles include Sr. Maintenance & Reliability Manager at Kellogg Company and Maintenance Engineering Manager at JW Aluminum. Gary also served as Regional Engineer at NRG Energy, overseeing the Enterprise-level Predictive Maintenance Program, and held various engineering roles at Midwest Generation and Rockwell Automation. Gary's military background includes service as an Electrician in the United States Navy. Educational qualifications encompass a Master's degree in Project Management from The Citadel, a Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Management and Technology from Northern Illinois University, and multiple associate degrees in Engineering Technologies from York Technical College.
